BALLISTICIAN
Position Summary:
Work in design and analysis of airbag inflator performance and factors that affect inflator performance.
Design solid propellant grains and must be knowledgeable with compressible fluid flow, and interior ballistics in general.
Complete design and analysis using proprietary codes. Understanding ballistic computer model development
and programming in C, FORTRAN, or BASIC is helpful. Work with the test department to plan and analyze ballistic tests.
INFLATOR DESIGN ENGINEER
Position Summary:
Responsible for product design, development, design changes, and transition to production of next generation
automobile air bag inflators. Innovative in new design concepts, to include Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) efforts.
MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
Position Summary:
Key support to manufacturing operations, interfacing with manufacturing, engineering, program management,
and advance engineering personnel to ensure effective new line start-ups. Works closely with manufacturing
resources to ensure smooth, steady-state output from all production lines.
QUALITY ENGINEER
Position Summary:
Supports the manufacturing operations by providing quality control technical support in controlling the
processes, and assuring customer and government requirements are met. Performs a major role in day-to-day
problem solving, and helps to provide the PFMEA and Control Plans for their responsible areas.
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Position Summary:
Responsible for the direct and indirect supervision for product lines and is the principal interface between
management and the hourly workforce. Supervise and direct activities of assigned personnel and assure work
is performed in accordance with safety policies, procedures, requirements and standards of the plant and program.
Assists in the development and implementation of new programs and techniques.
ENGINEER
Position Summary:
Responsible for product design, development, and transition to production of next
generation automobile air bag inflators.
SENIOR ENGINEER
Position Summary:
Responsible for product design, product development, design changes, and technical aspects of automobile
air bag inflator products. Responsible for supporting new design concepts, as well as Value Analysis/Value
Engineering (VA/VE) efforts on particular programs.
ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Position Summary:
Responsible for directing or performing all mechanical related product development and quality assurance
testing of air bag and seat belt assemblies and components as required in an efficient, cost effective,
and conscientious manner to comply with company, federal, and customer specifications.
BUYER
Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Purchasing Manager, assists in planning, coordinating, directing and
controlling activities in line with corporate policies and procedures. Assists purchasing teams and monitors
activities at each facility. Provides purchasing and administrative support to Management and Buyers within
the department. Performs routine or repetitive duties related to department administration, research,
pricing, documentation, routine purchases and supplier interfacing.
MATERIALS MANAGER
Position Summary:
Responsible for supervising and controlling all material functions in line with corporate policies and
procedures while developing departmental strategies, goals and objectives. Manage material teams and
monitor activities at all ARC Automotive, Inc. locations. Ensure the timely delivery of both direct and
indirect material to enable completion of customer requirements. Reports directly to the Vice President,
Operations Automotive Products.
PLANNER SCHEDULER
Position Summary:
Material Scheduling: Review all releases received from customers; compare against previous weeks
requirements; discern discrepancies. Material Control: Input customer requirements into material
system; coordinate releases form supplier base; control purchased parts inventory to ensure support
of production requirements.
COMPUTER TECHNICIAN
Position Summary:
Responsible for installing under supervision, software and hardware required for the operation of
the manufacturing facility. Troubleshoots simple operational issues. Systems involved are real time
processes and are critical in the operation of the manufacturing facility.
PROGRAMMER ANAYLST
Position Summary:
Manages the division application systems and makes architectural recommendations concerning technological
directions for application software. This position is responsible for gathering requirements, designing,
coding, testing, implementing and maintaining specific modules or workgroup systems. Codes, tests, documents
and implements programs on moderately complex projects. May assist the Sr. Programmer/Analyst on large,
complex projects.
